Want A Professional Cooking Education?

By

Today, I just have to tell you about the greatest educational DVD’s, on cooking and baking,  I have ever found.  I know you will agree when you take a look at The Great Courses catalog.

I have purchased college level courses from this company for years.  I was floored when they brought out their new cooking courses from instructors at The Culinary Institute of America,  the  Greystone, California campus.

The Culinary Institute of America,  CIA for short,  is considered Thee Top Rated,  ”Best Culinary School in the world” according to Paul Bocuse, world renowned French chef, ( “The Everyday Gourmet, Making Healthy Food Taste Great”), and many others, as you will see in their reviews. I have known of this school for many years. Many great chefs graduated from there, wish I did.

Don’t be afraid of the term “college level”.  You will find these courses very entertaining as well as informative. Even people cooking for many years, like myself, have learned new ideas and expanded on their extensive knowledge of cooking and baking, not to mention the things I had forgotten about.

First of the series of three is:   “The Everyday Gourmet:  Rediscovering the Lost Art of Cooking” with Chef Bill Briwa

Second is:    “The Everyday Gourmet:  Baking Pastries and Desserts”  with Chef  Stephen L. Durfee

The newest is ” The Everyday Gourmet:  Making Healthy Food Taste Great”  with Chef-Instructor  Bill Briwa and  Connie Guttersen, Nutrition Instructor.

Check out their catalog. You won’t be disappointed.
